With all the spirit of a happy hour and weekend brunch, this zesty, citrusy tomato take on hummus brings festive flavor to the table with hints of hot sauce, Worcestershire, chili powder and classic Bloody Mary garnishes.

Hummus

  • 13.5 cups Bush’s Best® Garbanzo Beans, Drained, Rinsed
  • 1 cup Lemon Juice
  • 9 Garlic, Fresh, Clove(s)
  • 0.5 cup Tahini Paste
  • 3 Tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 13.5 Tbsp Hot Sauce
  • 4.5 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2.25 tsp Chili Powder
  • .75 cup Marinara Sauce
  • 4.5 tsp Parsley Flakes, Dried
  • 1.75 cups Water
  • 1 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Garnish

  • 1.25 cups Green Olives, Pitted, Chopped
  • 1.25 cups Celery, Finely Diced
  • 2.25 tsp Chili Powder
  • 2.25 tsp Celery Salt

Dippers

  • 1.25 lb. Pita Chips
  • 2.25 lb. Celery
  • 2.25 lb. Baby Carrots

  • 13.5 cups Bush’s Best® Garbanzo Beans, Drained, Rinsed
  • 1 cup Lemon Juice
  • 9 Garlic, Fresh, Clove(s)
  • 0.5 cup Tahini Paste
  • 3 Tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 13.5 Tbsp Hot Sauce
  • 4.5 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2.25 tsp Chili Powder
  • .75 cup Marinara Sauce
  • 4.5 tsp Parsley Flakes, Dried
  • 1.75 cups Water
  • 1 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Garnish

  • 1.25 cups Green Olives, Pitted, Chopped
  • 1.25 cups Celery, Finely Diced
  • 2.25 tsp Chili Powder
  • 2.25 tsp Celery Salt

  • 1.25 lb. Pita Chips
  • 2.25 lb. Celery
  • 2.25 lb. Baby Carrots

DIRECTIONS

  1. HUMMUS: Combine all ingredients except olive oil and water in the base a food processor. For larger yield recipe, divide ingredients into batches.
  2. Using the high-speed setting, slowly stream in olive oil and water. Blend for 1 minute.
  3. Stop to scrape the sides of the blender with a rubber spatula. Blend for another minute or until hummus is smooth and creamy.
  4. Transfer hummus to a plastic container and cover. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  5. PRESENTATION: For one platter, spread 1.5 cups of Bloody Mary Hummus onto a shallow dish. Top each hummus platter with 2 Tbsp green olives, 2 Tbsp celery, .25 tsp chili powder and .25 tsp celery salt. Serve with 2 oz. pita chips, 4 oz. celery, and 4 oz. baby carrots.
