Classic Charro Beans

INGREDIENTS
- 8 oz Bacon, applewood smoked, raw thin small slices
- 1 cup Onions, yellow, small dice
- 2 Tbsp Garlic, fresh, minced
- 0.25 cup Jalapeño, fresh, minced
- 2 cup Tomatoes, cherry, red halved
- 1, #10 can Bush's® Best® Easy Entrées™ Texas Ranchero® Pinto Beans
- 1 tsp Oregano, dried Mexican
- 3 Tbsp Cilantro, fresh rough chop
INGREDIENTS
- 8 oz Bacon, applewood smoked, raw thin small slices
- 1 cup Onions, yellow, small dice
- 2 Tbsp Garlic, fresh, minced
- 0.25 cup Jalapeño, fresh, minced
- 2 cup Tomatoes, cherry, red halved
- 1, #10 can Bush's® Best® Easy Entrées™ Texas Ranchero® Pinto Beans
- 1 tsp Oregano, dried Mexican
- 3 Tbsp Cilantro, fresh rough chop
DIRECTIONS
- Place bacon in a large sauce pot and cook over medium-high heat, until bacon starts to become crispy (approximately 5 minutes). DON'T drain off bacon grease. Add onions, stir to evenly combine and cook onions until translucent and lightly browned (approximately 3 minutes). Add garlic, jalapeño and tomatoes, stir to combine and cook an additional 3 minutes.
- Add Bush's® Best® Easy Entrees™ Texas Ranchero Pinto Beans and Mexican oregano to the sauce pot ingredients, stir to evenly combine and simmer for approximately 12-15 minutes.
- Add cilantro to finish, stir to evenly combine and remove sauce pot from heat.
- Portion hot Charro Beans, as needed, for service or hold hot for service.
